Centara Hotels & Resorts is organising a number of extra children’s activity programmes for families staying at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya during the October 2010 school holiday season.The all new Kids’ Holiday Camps, which are offered at a nominal cost of THB 500 per person, are designed to keep the youngsters between the ages of seven and 16 years busy and happy under the care of professional supervisors while their parents relax.
The programmes are being offered throughout the month of October and take place every week over a three-day period from Friday-Sunday.
Meals and refreshments are provided and the youngsters receive gifts of caps and certificates for completing the programmes.
Registration takes place during each Friday afternoon, with the participants then taking part either in rock-climbing lessons or activities in the pool. On Friday evening after dinner the youngsters are given tennis lessons, followed by a competition.
Saturday morning sees a sailing workshop for the elder children, while the younger ones take part in a treasure hunt, followed by mask making. During the evening they are given lessons in juggling, followed by a performance for their parents.
On Sunday morning the elder participants are taken sailing, while the younger ones enjoy a sand castle competition. This is followed at mid-morning by the gift and certificate presentation and farewell from the hotel’s sports team.
